Mahmood is a Partner at Run Ventures, serving as a liaison between the firm and limited partners outside of the United States.

Mahmood started his financial career in 2006 as an analyst at Kuwait’s Industrial and Financial Investments Company (IFIC). He quickly rose through the ranks, becoming an Assistant Manager overseeing PE fund portfolios and performing due diligence on VC funds to leverage buyouts.

In 2013, he moved to Dubai to and joined a local placement firm as an advisor. While there, he worked on strategies for venture growth and secondaries for several notable managers. Prior to joining Signal Peak Ventures, Mahmood worked at Mercato Growth Partners in Utah where he was part of the investor relation team.

Mahmood currently splits his time between Dubai, Salt Lake City and his hometown of Philadelphia.
